I am trying to deal with all the spam botts invading my group. I have been getting about 10 bogus sign up requests a day. The procedure I am now trying out is for people who wish to join up will send me a personal email and then I will sign them up manually as the administrator of the forum. This will work just fine but I know that many people will consider it a hassle so I may lose new members. We'll see how it all works out.
