Well, I'm a little depressed that my father did not win the election. Steve Poster and the rest of those in power mounted an extensive and quite dirty campaign to defeat Haskell, and they won.
Now, we all have to figure out how to continue the struggle, the good fight, to make the union truly representative, to serve the membership as a labor union should.

my Discussion Group
I am trying to deal with all the spam botts invading my group. I have been getting about 10 bogus sign up requests a day. The procedure I am now trying out is for people who wish to join up will send me a personal email and then I will sign them up manually as the administrator of the forum. This will work just fine but I know that many people will consider it a hassle so I may lose new members. We'll see how it all works out.
